Escapade - The Paragliding school of the Aure valley

Escapade is the only Paragliding and Speed Riding school in Saint-Lary and the Aure Valley.

At the heart of the Pyrenees and 20km from Spain, our valley is perfectly adapted for the practice of paragliding.  Seven take-off and three landing sites, with different gradients, from 400 to 1200m provide differnt flying experiences; calm and tranquil in the morning, thermic and dynamic in the afternoon.  Then return to calm conditions in the evening for magnificent soaring flights.

Escapade is quality certified by the F.F.V.L (Fédération Française de Vol Libre) and offers you:

• a team with state-controlled educational diplomas.
• professional insurance provided directly by the F.F.V.L
• training content adapted to different experience levels.
• accredited main equipment, renewed every 2 years, plus back protection and reserve parachutes.
• quality facilities:
  • classroom with video, boards, charts and documents.
  • a reception and relaxation area.
  • space dedicated to the sale of new and second-hand equipment (wings, harnesses, accessories and clothes.....)
  • a storage and stock room for laying out equipment during the course.

Speed riding is now well developed and Saint Lary has excellent potential.  Escapade offered speed riding experiences and course for the first time in 2008/2009.
